Chinese Medicine is one of the most commonly used alternative and complementary therapies in the world with thousands of years in history. The basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is quite different from conventional medicine, or we may call it Western medicine. The theory of TCM is developed from the traditional Chinese philosophy with Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, and Tuina as the three major treatment methods. This TCM workshop will mainly focus on the management of emergency cases, such as syncope, heat stroke, and bone fracture by acupuncture and Tuina. Hands-on experience will be provided.
